Zorgelijk dat je er nu pas achterkomt dat er ergens een ontwerpfout zit die niet te zomraar op te lossen is.
Lijkt steeds meer op het Limits verhaal. Misschien moeten ze gaan samenwerken dan komt er mogelijk een toch een werkbaar product uit, of lopen ze tegen dezelfde problemen op.

Toch wonderlijk inderdaad. Ik zit zelf totaal niet in de technische hoek, maar ik kan me niet voorstellen dat je niet eerst meerdere prototypes test, zodat het eindproduct eigenlijk geen verrassingen meer kan bevatten. Blijkbaar is dat niet gedaan. Nou ja, we wachten maar wat langer, ondertussen vermaak ik me ook wel op de fiets (met 4iiii powermeter).

Dat is hoe het tegenwoordig schijnbaar werkt voor sommige. We besteden eerst veel tijd aan gelikte marketing en filmpjes, vervolgens zetten een social media campagne op om een product te verkopen dat eigenlijk nog ontworpen moet worden. Als we genoeg geld hebben binnen gehaald om de reeds gemaakte kosten te kunnen betalen, dan beginnen we een triathlon ploeg met een eigen huis... oh ja en tussen door proberen we toch nog maar een product uit te rollen, maar stiekem besteden we meer aan customer service om de klagende massa in toom te houden.

Hi all, we mentioned last week that we experienced some hiccups that were challenging to solve with software. This week, after running multiple tests - inside, outside, pedal-focused, product-focused, crank-focused and more - we are a lot closer to reaching a conclusion on how to fix it.
Also, we'd like to address the frustration that some of you have expressed. We completely understand you. If we weren't the inventors of this product, but instead waiting on the other side as backers, we'd be equally disappointed by the shifting delivery dates and perceived lack of technical information.
Having said that, it seems there are possibilities within rewriting part of the software that will help minimize any inconsistencies in power readings. This should be good news! We'll let you know as soon as we know more.

We would like to give you an update on our latest developments concerning the shipment of your pre-sales power meter(s).
Perhaps you have read on our social media pages that we recently encountered a few hiccups during the testing of our first batch of power meters. It seemed at first it might be a challenge to fix with firmware alone, but we’re extensively testing all options and it’s starting to look like we do have a conclusive solution coming up soon. So that is good news in a challenging situation.
As iQsquare, it remains our number 1 priority to deliver an innovative product of the highest quality. Since we are still a startup, this means we will need a bit more time to finalize the final power meter, which will push out your delivery date from March to late April or May. We are very sorry about this.
