Natuurlijk kunnen wielrenners over het algemeen goed sturen en hebben ze goed materiaal tot hun beschikking. Ik snap alleen niet waarom je de finish onderaan een afdaling plaatst. Dat zijn toch onnodige risico's. Iedereen heeft de mond vol over de veiligheid van de renners en dan doe je dit, dat is afwijkend met wat er in de afgelopen maanden besproken is.

Ach, kjik even naar de mtb wedstrijd is Crasmontana afgelopen weekend..... Dan weet je ineens hoe serieus of de UCI veiligheid neemt.

Maar nat en dat het regent in Zwisterland is meer regel dan uitzondering.
Het is lastig, persoonlijk vind ik sprinten gevaarlijker dan dalen.
Voordeel is dat het hier geen peleton meer is. Bovenin zitten er best een paar linke stukken.

Een massasprint is minstens zo gevaarlijk als een afdaling. Dan ben je ook nog overgeleverd aan de kunsten van de andere renners en in een afdaling ligt het alleen aan jezelf. Die massaspurt halen we er toch ook niet uit?
