A few days before the Paris-Roubaix Challenge, an exhaustive study of the safety measures to be implemented on the same weekend as the elite event, revealed that we have to change the event form.
Indeed, despite the efforts of relevant authorities, we could not validate the private use of roads for the Paris-Roubaix Challenge for the first edition.
This is the reason why this first edition of Paris-Roubaix Challenge will be organized as a cycle touring ride.
This new format involves some changes:
> it is no longer a race so there will be no timing or classification.
> you will ride on roads open to traffic and will therefore have to respect the traffic rules.
Volunteers will secure specific areas and major crossroads in order to facilitate your ride
> the finish area will be close to the "Carrefour de l´Arbre", which will be the last cobblestone section and not in the Roubaix Velodrome as expected.
Every participants will be able to ride the Cobblestones and have the opportunity to taste the legend of the Queen of the Classics
Following this change of format, you have two possibilities:
> Take part in this cycle touring ride and test your strength on the cobblestones in a more relaxed atmosphere. In this case, we will reduce your registration fee to 40 euros and pay you back the difference.
Limited edition pack from Rapha is also confirmed for all: offered tee-shirt and bag.
> Cancel your registration. In this case, we will pay you back your entire registration fee.
Riders services
All services that were initially planned are confirmed: you will therefore benefit from four refreshment points, a technical assistance by our partner Mavic, and a medical assistance service all along the course (fixed medical points and moving units).
Shuttle
Shuttle services are maintained but will start from the finish area, close to the Carrefour de l´Arbre (instead of Roubaix velodrome) and bring you back to Saint-Quentin (Champ de Foire car park)
Feedback Procedure
We need a response from you concerning the two possibilities mentioned above: take part in the cycle-touring ride or cancel your registration.

We just need few information: your choice, your identity and your file number.
To allow us to organise the event in the best conditions, please, answer us as soon as you can.
If you do not answer, we will pay you back the registration fee.
