Roto is the patented system that allows for a variable positioning of the central movement as compared to the bicycle frame architecture.
It is based on a gyrator manufactured in ergal and fitted inside an oversized tube.The system allows to improve the mechanical and fatigue characteristics especially thanks to the wider cross-section of the tube in which the central movement is placed;therefore,it is subject to lower thermal stress deriving from the TIG soldering.From the monitoring viewpoint,the possibility of lateral movement of the ROTO also ensures better alignment potential for the chain tautness,while,after calibration of the CNC gyrator seat,the perfect alignment of the pedals on the frame longitudinal axis is guaranteed.
The advantage offered by ROTO is even more obvious in the possibility offered for the bicycle set-up:the unctional,virtual angle of the central movement in regards to the vertical piantone tube can be adjusted at will thanks to the rotation of the gyrator eccentric rotation especially important for Road traveling.
The same eccentric movement of the gyrator also allows for adjusting the pedals height from the soil especially important for MtB traveling. Micro-variations of the set-up rotation and eccentric and of the ROTO lateral movements make ROTO the final solution to compensate for every user ’s different physical features.
